REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH EDUCATION FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS:

• The project started in 1999 by voluntary resources then was supported by the Ford Foundation from 2000 till 2014 and again utilizing our own resources until the year 2017.
• It entailed the conduction of awareness seminars in faculties and high institutes on topics of interest of youth about to get married; both males and females aged 18 till 24 years of age.
• 320 seminars were conducted and attended by more than 45000 students.
• Half of the time of each seminar was allocated to answer unanimous written questions received from the students.
• The questions received helped so much in getting to know the reproductive health concerns, problems and misunderstandings of our university students.
• The seminars proved to be very helpful and confirmed the dire need of students for a reliable source of reproductive health information as well as the need for someone to listen to them and provide counseling and support.
