STUDY OF REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH NEEDS OF BEDOUIN YOUTH:

• The Society conducted a study of the reproductive health needs of Bedouin youth in Sinai and Western Desert in order to explore their needs for the health education activities.
• This unique study was conducted in the year 2012 and had been the first of its kind in Egypt.
• Field study lasted for four months and included all Sinai, Matrouh Desert and Siwa Oasis.
• The study sample included a large numbers of young male and females, their parents, mothers and community leaders. It applied a qualitative methodology.
• The research concluded enormous facts about the lifestyle of male and female Bedouin young people and their reproductive health practices and trends as well as the urgent need for quality health, educational and recreational services specially females who suffer most from social isolation.
